At RhPf Electronics, we build guitar pedals by hand in our basement in Basel, Switzerland. It’s just the two of us—Simone and Thomas—spending our free time designing and crafting pedals, under the close watch of our loyal companion, Pouchie Lou.
Our full-time jobs have nothing to do with music or electronics, but we love the creative process. We’re not in this for money or success—just the joy of creating and sharing music. We build pedals because we enjoy it and want to share our passion. If one of our creations becomes part of your sound, that’s all we could ask for.
We craft every pedal with care. Whether you’re recording, playing live, or just jamming at home, we hope our work inspires you.

This is us
Simone (according to him): My better half, part-time muse, and part-time caretaker, always keeping me grounded and pushing me forward. Without her, RhPf Electronics would still be just a collection of messy notes and wild ideas. Her creativity transcended my ambitions and took this project places I never imagined. She handles graphic design, communication, and marketing, making sure our pedals don’t just sound great but look the part too. More than that, she’s my constant source of support and inspiration, always there, always believing.
Thomas (according to her): The genius behind the boards. When we moved in together, I had no idea what all those tiny components—capacitors, resistors, transistors—were for. They arrived in a box, moved in with us, and sat there, waiting. After his diagnosis, something shifted. One by one, he started taking them out, tinkering, experimenting, bringing ideas to life. Long story short: the first Mosferatwo was born.
His patience, dedication, and precision are something I deeply admire. He’s the reason our pedals don’t just sound great but are built to last. He’s the engineer, the problem-solver, the one who makes the magic happen. And if that wasn’t impressive enough—he even had the patience to teach me how to solder.
Pouchie Lou (according to herself): Probably the most important “employee” at RhPf Electronics. She’s our motivator, always in a good mood, and the heart of our little operation. Whether we’re designing, soldering, or testing pedals, she’s right there, supervising with an expert eye (or maybe just hoping for snacks). And if there’s a treat involved? She’ll even help turn on the Mosferatwo. Employee of all months—no contest.
She takes her role at RhPf Electronics very seriously. As our official quality controller, she has personally tested the durability of each pedal—proving and stress-testing their resistance with unwavering dedication. Whether it’s ensuring that every enclosure can withstand real-life wear and tear or keeping morale high in the workshop, Pouchie Lou plays a vital role in making sure every pedal meets our high standards before it leaves the shop.
