Swiss Touring Board 2026 πŸ‡¨πŸ‡ The Makers

You are already part of this. Here is what that looks like.

If you are reading this, we already had the conversation. You know what the Swiss Touring Board is, you said yes, and we are genuinely glad you did. This page is just everything in one place, so nothing gets lost in a DM thread.

The board will be on the road from September 6th up until November 21st 2026. But it all needs to be ready before that.

What is on the board

The board itself this year is provided by Ebbe Design. Two industrial design students from Switzerland that stole the show at Guitars and More 2026, Wettingen, and took over the web with their revolutionary concept.

On the board, you will find the finest Swiss brands have to offer:

We will write a dedicated piece about each brand on our website before the tour and about each piece of gear, during the tour. We will come to you with a draft and work on it together until you are completely happy with it. Nothing goes live without your sign-off.

What is in the bag

Inside the gig bag, there is a pouch for each musician. Twelve pouches, twelve names. Each one contains a set of Rombo Picks, the most freaking great guitar picks we have ever tried, and a few goodies from the brands involved.

There is also the Touring Board Diary. A physical book that travels with the board from start to finish. Every musician writes something in it. A lyric, a thought, a sketch, a bad joke. It documents the journey from the inside, in the voices of the people who lived it. At the end of the tour, it comes back to us, and it stays.

What we need from you, and when

Gear confirmed and in our hands by the end of May. That is the one hard deadline. We want the board built, tested, and looking its best by early June, because that is when we start building the story around it before the tour even begins.

If we have never met in person, that needs to happen before it all starts. Not because it is required, not because there is a form to fill in. Because a conversation around a coffee with like-minded people is the reason we started this in the first place. Reach out and we will make it happen.

One more thing while we are on the topic of asks: we would love for each of you to recommend at least one artist you think belongs on this board. Someone from your corner of the Swiss scene, someone you respect, someone you think would bring something real to the journey. We will reach out to them directly and take it from there. Your perspective on who is out there matters to us, and honestly, this is how the best lineups get built.

We will be giving each musician one of our pedals at the end of their week, if the connection is there and the week went well. We would love for you to think about how you want to show up for them too. It does not have to be a pedal. A discount code, a goodie, something with your name on it, anything that makes them feel seen and appreciated. There is no right answer and no obligation.

Let us know what you have in mind before the tour starts so we can build it into the experience properly.

  • Gear confirmed and provided by the end of May
  • Meet in person (if we never did before)
  • Suggest at least one artist to be part of the tour
  • Let us know if / what you would like to offer to the artists

That is genuinely it on the ask side. Everything else, we handle.

What we handle

All of it.

Finding the right artists, putting the board together, locking the schedule, organising the handovers, emergency trips if something needs to move, getting in touch with musicians, interviewing them, writing about them and about your gear. The magazine, the documentary, the content on our website. The logistics, the coordination, the follow-up.

You confirm your gear, you get it to us by end of May, and if we have not met yet, we sit down for that coffee. After that, you can focus on what you do. We take care of the rest.

During the summer, before the tour

While we are finalising the artist lineup and locking the schedule, the board does not sit in a corner. We will be bringing it around to guitar shops we are friends with, music schools, and a few other places worth visiting. Creating content, telling the story of what is coming, and letting people see and hear the gear in real contexts.

We will be writing about each piece of gear on our website throughout this period, giving each brand a proper introduction before the tour begins. Think of it as a warm-up lap.

During the tour

When an artist posts and adds you as a collaborator on Instagram, accept it. That is the one active thing we ask of you during the twelve weeks. The collaborator tag is what makes the post appear on your profile and reach your audience directly. A tag in a caption alone does not do that.

We will get in touch with each of you during the tour to set up a proper conversation, gather material for the documentary and the magazine, and make sure your story is told the way it deserves to be. Photos, videos, whatever you have that fits. We will handle the questions and the scheduling.

What is in it for you

Honest answer: we are not going to promise you a flood of orders. That is not what this is.

What this is, is your gear in the hands of twelve real musicians, across Switzerland, over twelve weeks. Not in a demo video. Not on a shelf. Actually played, actually lived with, actually heard by the people around those artists. The board will move through rehearsal rooms, living rooms, stages, and studios. Your name travels with it.

You will also be in a closing documentary that tells the full story of the journey, with every brand and every musician featured in proportion to their contribution. We are not settled on the format yet but this should look like a wrap up of all that happened in a YouTube video.

And beyond all of that, you will have been part of something that brought Swiss artists and Swiss makers genuinely closer together. That is the real goal here. Not impressions. Not conversion rates. A local scene that knows each other, supports each other, and makes something worth remembering.

What we ask the musicians, so you know

The artists are briefed to treat the board as they would their own gear. Handovers happen in person, hand to hand, on Sunday, every week without exception. We ask them to post during their week and not after, because once their week ends, the spotlight moves to the next artist. To write something in the Touring Board Diary. To leave a mark on the case, a sticker, a signature, a patch, something that stays for the rest of the tour. Be curious about the gear, to have a real conversation with the next person when they hand it over, and to support each other throughout.

The same code of conduct applies to everyone involved, artists and brands alike. No hate speech, no harassment, no racism, no sexism, no homophobia, no discrimination of any kind. We hold ourselves to that standard too. Always.

One last thing

Simi is due to give birth to our first child, a boy, on the sixth of August. His name is Louie.

This is why everything needs to be in place before the summer. The artists locked, the schedule set, the board ready to go. We want the last stretch before he arrives to be about him, not about logistics. You are helping make that possible, and we do not take that lightly.

We are building something here that we are proud of, with people we are proud to stand next to. That includes you.

We love you.
