Biel/Bienne’s M.O.T.H.E.R. are a trio who play like a single organism: Lenny (guitar & vocals), Adams (bass), and Ivo (drums). No frills, no filler, just forward motion. Their thing isn’t polish; it’s precision with personality, the kind of rock that grabs a room by the shoulders and makes it move.
Lipstick – Love Massage Bullet
“Lipstick” doesn’t warm up, it lights up. A punk-leaning slide-in sparks the fuse and the groove lands immediately. Ivo hits with mortar-grade intent, a punchy human click that dictates the volume of the whole band. Adams locks to him like a second heartbeat, headbang with one shoulder, sway with the other. Over that engine, Lenny’s guitar brings early-’90s bite (the proper kind, before American Pie), and the trio’s tightness makes every bar feel inevitable.
Then the vocal arrives, low, close, crooner-suave, and the hook winks:
“I want your lipstick… but not just on my face.”
It’s cheeky, confident, and unmistakably rock ’n’ roll. The arrangement keeps climbing, no copy-paste sections, until a solo drops that’s musical first, flashy never. It fits the song, wrong-foots the ear just enough, and sets up a quieter resolve that makes you hit repeat.
