The RhPf Tone Maps have found a new home, and this time, it’s not just a mention.
Pedalboard.org, one of Germany’s largest online communities for guitar and pedal enthusiasts, has just taken things a step further. They have created a permanent section on their website dedicated entirely to the Tone Maps.
A Shared Love for Pedals and Curiosity
The new page, titled Frequenzgang von Effektpedalen, invites users to explore the frequency responses of both classic and modern effects. From the ProCo RAT and Klon Centaur to the legendary Arbiter Fuzz, it allows players to see how tone evolves, how EQ curves shift, and how design choices come to life visually. In their own words, the Tone Maps are “interaktive Diagramme, die zeigen, wie die Bässe abfallen, die Mitten anschwellen und die Höhen funkeln.”
In plain English, it is a tool that helps you see how tone is built rather than just hear it.

For more than a decade, Pedalboard.org has been a cornerstone of the German guitar scene. What started as a Facebook group gradually grew into one of the most respected gear platforms in Europe. Over the years, the site has become known for its transparency, community spirit, and wealth of shared knowledge.
