Mosferatwo and Tri-Hormonic Phalanx both earned their place in the 2025 Best New Boost and Overdrive Pedals of the Year. At the same time, Mo(s)ghoul was named in the 2025 Best New Distortion Pedals of the Year and Mosrawr, Best New Fuzz of 2025.
Guitar Pedal X reviewed more than 200 new pedals throughout the year. Only a select group reached the final Best of lists. As a result, four RhPf pedals recognized across three categories confirm our position among the standout builders of 2025.
Mosferatwo – 2025 Best New Overdrive of the Year
Guitar Pedal X called Mosferatwo the most appealing and most instantly satisfying pedal in our lineup. They praised how easy it is to dial in and how naturally it responds. Even more important, they wrote that everyone who tried it loved it.

Tri-Hormonic Phalanx – 2025 Best New Boost of the Year
Guitar Pedal X described Tri-Hormonic Phalanx as the most versatile drive we make. They also named it their favorite sounding drive in the entire RhPf range.
Tri-Hormonic Phalanx blends three independent harmonic engines across low, mid and high bands. It lets you shape gain like an instrument instead of fighting a fixed voice. Consequently, this 2025 award places it among the most powerful and flexible drive platforms released this year.
Mo(s)ghoul – 2025 Best New Distortion of the Year
Guitar Pedal X highlighted Mo(s)ghoul for its unusual output profile and the exquisite character of its clipping. They focused on how distinctive and musical the distortion feels.
We designed Mo(s)ghoul as a harmonic multi-voice MOSFET distortion with a strong identity and full tone control. It delivers saturated gain without losing clarity. Therefore, its 2025 award confirms Mo(s)ghoul as one of the most original new high-gain distortions of the year.
Mosrawr – 2025 Best New Fuzz of the Year
Guitar Pedal X named Mosrawr one of its favourite high-gain fuzzes of the year. They called it an instant doomy delight and placed it among their elite group of killer doom fuzzes. They described it as immense, ferocious, and rich in texture.
We designed Mosrawr to feel unapologetically huge. It delivers velcro-tight attack, crushing low end, and raw harmonic chaos on demand. Does not aim for subtlety. It aims for impact. As a result, this 2025 award confirms Mosrawr as a standout fuzz for players who want weight, character, and authority.
