A Milestone We Never Saw Coming
When we started RhPf Electronics in a small corner of our basement in Basel, we never imagined that our pedals would one day appear next to the biggest names in the guitar world. Yet this year, Premier Guitar selected RhPf Electronics as an official contributor to the famous Mystery Stocking. Our logo now sits beside brands like Fender, Gibson, Boss, MXR, Eventide, Keeley, D’Addario, Vox, Strymon and many more.
What the Mystery Stocking Means for Us
The Mystery Stocking is not just a holiday promotion. It is a yearly ritual for thousands of guitarists who gather behind their screens at 10 AM Central, hoping to secure a box before it sells out. The event blends excitement, tradition, and good old chaos. People expect picks, straps or strings. Sometimes they get a pedal. Sometimes they get something far more surprising. This year, someone will open their stocking and discover a hand built Swiss pedal that came to life in our Basel workshop.
Four RhPf Pedals Inside the Stocking
Premier Guitar will ship Mystery Stockings that include one of four RhPf originals. Some lucky players will receive a Mosferatwo, while others might find a Mo(s)ghoul, a Tri-Hormonic Phalanx, or a Twin Peaks Eiger-Mönch. Each pedal carries its own personality and its own development story. None of them are mass produced. Every unit went through careful soldering, tuning and testing, shaped by late nights, circuit revisions and conversations with the musicians who support us.
Why This Moment Matters
Seeing our logo appear among industry giants feels like a quiet confirmation that our approach resonates beyond Switzerland. We reached this moment without paid marketing or shortcuts. We focused on originality, on community, and on designing tools that help musicians find their own sound. The Mystery Stocking reflects that spirit by placing a boutique Swiss pedal into the hands of players who may never have encountered RhPf before.
A Holiday Surprise for Players Everywhere
The Mystery Stocking launches on November 24 at 10 AM Central, and it sells out incredibly fast every year. Anyone who manages to grab one will have a real chance of discovering a hand built RhPf pedal inside. We hope the surprise brings as much joy as the process of building these pedals brings to us.
