We’re excited to share the story behind a collaboration that began with a virtual rabbit hole… and ended up changing how we ship every RhPf pedal: our partnership with RockBoard by Warwick. This one’s about more than accessories, it’s about discovery, shared values, and that spark you feel when something just clicks.

How It All Started: One Configurator to Rule Them All

It all began when we stumbled across the RockBoard Pedalboard Configurator. We didn’t expect much at first, most pedalboard tools out there feel like simple drag-and-drop grids. But a few minutes in, we realized this was something completely different.

The RockBoard Configurator lets you:

  • Build your board with real pedal dimensions and accurate spacing
  • Calculate total power consumption and match it with compatible supplies
  • Choose patch cables with realistic routing and lengths
  • Access specs through PedalPedia, a built-in pedal database packed with detailed info
  • Like, comment, and share your builds, just like a mini social network for gear nerds
  • Browse other users’ boards for inspiration and insight into real-world setups

It’s not just a planning tool, it’s a community hub. Whether you’re prepping for tour, fine-tuning your bedroom setup, or just dreaming big, the RockBoard Configurator turns a chore into something inspiring. And yeah, it’s kind of addictive. And that is where we got hooked. PedalPedia is a treasure trove, tens of thousands of pedals with size, power specs, demo links, and more. It’s the kind of obsessive, well-organized resource we love to see.

From Browsing to “Wait, What’s That?”

Naturally, once we were hooked on the Configurator, we kept exploring, and quickly found ourselves bookmarking a few unexpected gems:

  • LED Dampers – Small silicone caps that reduce the brightness of those blinding blue or white pedal LEDs. A subtle fix that makes a big difference.
  • Dust Covers – Padded, fitted covers for your pedalboard that protect your setup between sessions or gigs. Especially great if you leave your board patched up.
  • Footswitch Toppers – Lightweight aluminum caps that increase footswitch visibility and make pedals easier to hit, plus they look sharp.

These weren’t just “nice to have” gadgets. They were thoughtful, practical tools that clearly came from years of real-world stage experience. And they were all beautifully made.

Reaching Out, And Discovering a Nice Soul

At that point, we figured: why not reach out? So we sent a message through the contact form on RockBoard’s website, just to say how much we appreciated the tool. To our surprise, the reply came directly from Nicolas Wilfer, CEO of Warwick GmbH & Co., the company behind RockBoard. From the very first message, Nicolas was warm, approachable, and genuinely curious about what we were doing at RhPf. We swapped thoughts on pedals, the configurator, and creative tools, and after a few friendly exchanges, he offered to send us a selection of RockBoard accessories to try. What arrived was a beautifully packed box full of smart, well-designed tools. Once we’d tried them ourselves, it was an easy decision: We decided to include RockBoard accessories with our pedals.

From Samples to Shared Vision

This wasn’t about upselling. It was about sharing, highlighting thoughtful, quality gear that we genuinely use and love. Starting now, some RhPf pedals will ship with select RockBoard accessories, as a bonus surprise. It might be an LED Damper, a Footswitch Topper, or another little gem we think you’ll dig. Because let’s be honest: the best gear is often the thing you didn’t know you needed, until you tried it.

A Company with Craft and Conscience

What made this collaboration feel even more right was getting to know more about Warwick, the company behind RockBoard. It turns out we had more in common than we realized. Warwick is a family-owned business based in Markneukirchen, Germany, with a deep commitment to sustainability and ethical manufacturing. Their facility is solar-powered, their packaging is designed with the environment in mind, and their entire production model reflects long-term thinking. They aren’t chasing trends, they’re building tools that last. They aren’t outsourcing everything, they’re growing local, sustainable jobs. And they aren’t just another gear company, they’re a community of makers who care about the same things we do.

Make Your Dreamboard – And Share It!

We’re not just fans of the RockBoard Configurator, we’re kind of obsessed. It’s become a regular part of our process, and we encourage you to try it too:

Go build your dreamboard. Head to the configurator, load up your pedals, explore new layouts, and when you’re done, share it on your socials. Tag @rhpfelectronics and @rockboardbywarwick, we love seeing the setups, the ideas, and the wild creativity out there. Whether you’re rocking a full stack of fuzzes or a minimalist clean rig, show us what you’re dreaming up. Who knows? We might repost it, send a surprise your way, or feature it in one of our future Rising Rig stories. Because the best part of this collaboration? The joy spreads.

What started with a website form turned into a new friendship, a shared philosophy, and a fresh way to surprise our customers with gear we believe in. Here’s to good tools, good people, and the power of curious connections.
