About the Tone Map Wishlist

People kept asking for new pedals. We tried to keep up. We could not track everything. So we created one central place. The wishlist collects suggestions, votes, and status in a single view. Now everyone can see what is coming next.

What You Can Request

We focus on analog dirt. In practice, that means boost, overdrive, distortion, fuzz, and EQ. To keep things intentional, limit your design to four knobs. If needed, you may add a fifth knob, but only if it controls volume. In addition, you can include up to two switches.

Whenever possible, a schematic helps a lot. If you have one, please share it or link to it. If not, you can still suggest the pedal. In that case, we will try to find a suitable schematic and confirm it before we map the design.

How Voting Works

Each pedal has a status you can follow. At first, every entry starts as Considering. As it gathers more votes, it moves to Planned. Once it reaches the vote target, the status changes to In progress. After we publish the Tone Map, it appears as Published.

By default, the vote target is ten votes. In most cases, we aim to publish within 7 days after a pedal hits the target, or, if another pedal is already in progress, 7 days after that work is completed.

• Considering: roughly 0 to 4 votes
• Planned: roughly 5 to 9 votes
• In progress: 10 votes
• Published: Tone Map is live

Using the Wishlist

• Search by brand or model. Filter by brand, type, or status. Sort by trending, total votes, newest, or title.
• Change the trending window to 7, 30, 90 days, or all time.
• Switch between list and card views. Clear filters at any time.
• Click I want this next to vote. One vote per person.
• Click Notify me to get one email when a pedal goes live. No newsletter.
• Click Share or Embed on published pedals to spread the word.

What To Include In Your Request

• Brand and model
• Knob layout. Up to four knobs, plus a volume if needed
• Up to two toggle switches
• A schematic link if you have one
• Any notes that help us verify the circuit

If you want your pedals mapped, contact us at contact@rhpfelectronics.com. From the start, we protect your intellectual property. We never share your schematic. We map. We do not clone.

Only Thomas and Simone see your file. Once the Tone Map goes live, or if you cancel the request, we permanently delete it.

How We Handle Your Schematic

• Purpose: we use it only to build the Tone Map
• Confidential info: schematics, notes, BOMs, sims, measurements, roadmaps
• Security: private storage with access limited to our team of two
• We will not disclose, publish, or reuse your design
• No circuit gossip. We never discuss topology or parts choices
• You keep ownership of your design. We keep ownership of the visualization code
• We delete the files within ten business days after publishing or canceling
• We can credit and link to you, or keep it anonymous. Your choice
