The Team

RhPf Electronics is a small workshop driven by passion. Behind every pedal is Thomas Besse, founder and designer, working out of Bottmingen, Basel-Landschaft, Switzerland. What started as a personal project to recover, rebuild, and reconnect with music grew into a boutique pedal brand with a community of players around it. Each pedal is designed, soldered, and tested by hand, showing our belief that originality, attention to detail, and tone matter more than mass production.

RhPf Electronics is not only about one person. Simone supports the brand in many ways, from organization to creative direction and outreach. Our dog Pouchie Lou is always present in the workshop, reminding us to take breaks and keeping the atmosphere light. Together we form a small but dedicated team that wants to build pedals that inspire.

We are closely connected to Basel’s creative scene and often work with local musicians, artists, and shops. Every design mixes Swiss precision, playful experimentation, and a love for guitar culture. Our goal is simple: to create tools that musicians enjoy and that spark new ideas. When you contact us, you are speaking directly with the people who design and build your gear. There are no layers and no middlemen, only the team behind RhPf Electronics.
