Today felt pretty special. Bajour, Baselβs independent online magazine, named us Basler*in des Tages. Seeing our faces and story on a platform that is part of everyday life here in Basel was a moment weβll never forget.
Basel is home
We live just on the outskirt of the city, Basel has our hearts. Itβs the place that shaped us and the place where weβve built our lives together. Iβve always loved this city with everything in me. I always said I would not mind when I retire to be a full-time tour guide for Basel. I know every corner, every stone, and every little hidden cafΓ©. Iβve walked these streets so many times and still get excited every time I get to share my favorite places with someone new. For us, Basel isnβt just where we live. Itβs a part of who we are.
Basler*in des Tages
The article shares how our little adventure started right here in Basel, during a rough patch. Music and electronics became a way to rebuild, to keep going, and to create something that matters to us. What began as tinkering in a basement slowly turned into something much bigger. It became a way to connect with people through sound, shared stories, and a lot of solder smoke.
Bajour also mentioned our upcoming project, Em Bebbi sy (Pedal-)Board, which will travel from musician to musician across Basel this winter. Every week a new artist will take it home, make music with it, and leave a piece of their story behind. Bit by bit, the board will become a living snapshot of our local music scene.
Close to our hearts
For us, this isnβt just a mention in the news. This is home. This is Basel. Itβs where everything began and where we want to keep growing. Being named Basler*in des Tages isnβt just a nice surprise. Itβs a reminder that what we build here matters to the community around us. And that means the world to us.
