Since 26 August 2025, we can no longer ship our guitar pedals to the United States.
The new U.S. customs rules made this impossible for every boutique builder and small international business.
We shipped our last U.S. orders just before the deadline. Some pending orders had to be cancelled and refunded because we could not build enough in time. Swiss Post notified us on Monday, 25 August, and we built through the night to send as many pedals as possible. To do this, we had to prioritize U.S. orders, which delayed deliveries for some of our worldwide customers who were already waiting.
Now we must wait. Swiss Post, like every other postal service, has suspended all goods shipments to the U.S. until further notice.
We want to be clear: we are not abandoning our U.S. supporters. Guitar pedals are for guitarists everywhere, and we are already in close contact with potential retail partners in America. We are also exploring every possible alternative so that players in the U.S. can still experience our original designs.
What happened
- Timing: The U.S. government signed the executive order on 30 July 2025. Postal operators only received clear instructions in mid to late August. This gave them only a few days to adapt before the rules applied.
- Operational uncertainty: Postal services worldwide reported confusion over duty collection, customs data, and liability. Without clarity, they stopped shipments until further notice.
Swiss Post statement (25 August 2025)
“From 26 August 2025, Swiss Post will temporarily be unable to accept any postal goods consignments to the USA. This is due to the U.S. government’s new customs regulations, which affect all postal companies worldwide. Important issues surrounding liability and the implementation of the new rules are still unresolved. For this reason, Swiss Post, like other postal companies, is forced to stop accepting goods consignments to the USA for the time being.”
We appreciate the patience and support of all of you, in the U.S. and around the world. As a small builder of boutique guitar pedals, we promise to keep working hard to find a solution. Switzerland is our home, but music does not stop at borders.
