Candyland Chaos
For the Mosrawr artwork, I wanted to capture that perfect contradiction: something wild and dangerous wrapped in something sweet and bright. The circuit itself sounds strong, distorted, and biting, so the visual had to mirror that raw intensity but also tease it with humor and color.
The star of the design is my favorite dinosaur, the Parasaurolophus. Its silhouette, elegant, powerful, and instantly recognizable, felt like the right match for the pedal’s character. There’s something noble about its shape, but also a hint of mischief, which fit the sound perfectly.
Behind the Mosrawr Graphic Design
I placed the Parasaurolophus in a candy-colored world, a place where opposites clash: hard and soft, dangerous and cute, prehistoric and pop. Think of it as a collision between Candyland and the Cretaceous. It’s absurd, but that’s what makes it work.
The bright, almost sugary tones make the dinosaur stand out like a misplaced predator in a world of sweets. It’s playful but also unsettling, the way a grin can hide fangs.
Cute Meets Chaotic
That tension between innocence and danger is what defines Mosrawr for me. The pedal’s tone has that same push and pull: it’s fun, explosive, and unpredictable. I wanted the artwork to tell that story visually, a roar in pastel.
It’s a reminder that distortion doesn’t always have to look mean to sound mean. Sometimes the fiercest things hide under the brightest colors.
