RhPf Electronics at Wacken Metal Battle – Lucerne, May 31st 2025
This weekend, we’re taking the stage at one of the most important events in the Swiss underground metal scene: the Wacken Metal Battle Switzerland National Finals, happening Saturday, May 31st, at Konzerthaus Schüür in Lucerne.
This is more than just a gig. It’s the Swiss gateway to Wacken Open Air, the world’s largest metal festival — and we couldn’t be more stoked to be a part of it. Huge thanks to Alex at ESP Switzerland for inviting us to bring the heat with our full lineup of original RhPf pedals.
From Workshop to Warzone
The Wacken Metal Battle is an international competition that spans over 40 countries, discovering and promoting unsigned metal bands from every corner of the globe. From Canada to Japan, from South Africa to the Middle East — the global metal community unites here.
In Switzerland, eight bands will take the stage to earn their place in the finals at Wacken Open Air — and we’ll be there to supply the filth, fuzz, and fury.
Our Arsenal – Ready for Battle
At the Schüür, we’ll be exhibiting four of our fiercest machines:
- 🧛♂️ Mosferatwo – warm and saturated MOSFET overdrive
- ☠️ Mosghoul – a snarling, doomy distortion
- 🔥 Capharnaüm – a chaotic fuzz forged for sonic mayhem
- 🐍 Basilisk – our newest high-gain beast, built for low-tuned devastation

The Wacken Metal Battle isn’t just a concert — it’s a launchpad. Bands get the chance to meet producers, labels, and bookers, and perform in front of a scene that’s hungry for new voices. We’re proud to be there alongside them, repping Swiss craftsmanship in the world of boutique effects.
