Hard, Heavy, Fast – Meet Mad Brains

Rising Tones Mad Brains

From a sweat-soaked basement in Schaffhausen to the chaos of Swiss stages, Mad Brains is the sonic equivalent of a Molotov cocktail. Angry, loud, and joyfully nihilistic, this band doesn’t just play music—they weaponize it.

Formed by Sebi, Samu, and Bruno, Mad Brains rose out of the grit of local skateparks and DIY venues, armed with nothing but a filthy rehearsal space, some cheap gear, and more rage than they knew what to do with. What started as a trio has since expanded into a full quartet, growing in both volume and venom. Their songs are rapid-fire explosions of frustration, written in tight basement sessions and delivered with a snarl. Their lyrics? A slap in the face—delivered in brutal Schwiizerdütsch, with themes that range from climate collapse to raw existential angst.

Whether it’s a screed against destruction or a love song for the whole collapsing world, their message is clear: “Bruche chan mer eus nöd”—you can’t use us, and we’re not here to play nice.

They’re not looking to preach or to please. Their mission is simpler: call out everything and everyone, burn it down with feedback and fury, and make sure it sounds damn good while doing it.

Träne – Pure Adrenaline with Teeth

There are some songs that build slowly. Träne is not one of them. It opens with a rapid drumstick countdown—the kind that feels like a gun being cocked. And then: detonation.

What makes it special?

  • A Drummer’s Signal to War – That classic 1-2, 1-2-3-4 launches you straight into a high-velocity wall of sound. It’s not just a count-in—it’s a call to arms.
  • Maximum-Speed Chaos – The tempo is ruthless, the guitar riffs frantic and raw. It’s a burst of punk rock so intense it barely gives you time to breathe. Tight, fast, and furious—nothing wasted.
  • Chopped Grooves & Broken Rhythms – The pace slows halfway through, but not to rest. It morphs into a lurching, muscular rhythm that stomps like a warning. Get ready—the next pit is coming.
  • Vocals That Preach Through Fire – The voice is searing, like someone trying to teach you a hard lesson with fists instead of a chalkboard. It’s not just screaming—it’s commanding.
  • Bass with Backbone – Every hit from the drums is underscored by the bass, creating a foundation that hits just as hard as the kicks. It’s what gives the chaos structure—what makes it dance instead of collapse.
  • Structure Amid Destruction – Even at its loudest, Träne knows exactly where it’s going. The choppy phrasing, sudden shifts, and precision-tight riffing give it a pulse that feels dangerously alive.

It’s music made for crowded rooms, raised fists, and sticky floors. Träne doesn’t just hit—it bruises. It’s fast. It lasts 1:23, you’ve got ten seconds to breathe before to jump onto the next one.

Rising Tones Sessions: Mad Brains – Final Words

At RhPf Electronics, we don’t just support music—we stand with the voices that refuse to be silenced. Mad Brains are a sonic punch to the system: fast, loud, and fiercely alive.

Träne captures that rare magic where chaos and message collide. With hopefully soon a Capharnaüm in their setup, we hope it adds one more layer of chaos to their war cry.

If you ever wondered what rage sounds like when it’s having fun, Träne is your answer.
